Quick answers about what Essentyx does, how it works, privacy, plans and account handling.
Essentyx is a browser extension that neutralizes emotionally biased and manipulative language in news articles, blog posts and other long-form web content. It rewrites visible text in real time into neutral phrasing while preserving facts and does not summarize, censor or modify the source site.
Ad blockers remove ads. Summarizers shorten content. Fact-checkers judge whether claims are true. Essentyx does none of those — it preserves the full article and rewrites only the emotionally loaded phrasing into neutral language, so you read the same information without the persuasion layer.
The Chrome extension is live today and works on Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera). Firefox, Safari and a Flutter mobile app for iOS and Android are in development.
Your text is processed in memory by the Essentyx engine and discarded after the response is returned. Originals are not stored, not used for training and not sold. Full details are on the privacy page.
No. Essentyx only changes what your browser displays locally. The source website is untouched. Hover any neutralized passage to restore the original wording.
Exaggerations, certainty inflation, identity and authority framing, suggestive metaphors, false dichotomies, fear and outrage triggers, and other rhetorical loading techniques. The engine targets the main article text and ignores navigation, ads and short fragments.
The model rewrites text and is sometimes imperfect. We are explicit about what it does and where it can be wrong. We would rather you trust it a little less and check the output than the other way around. Essentyx provides no factual or legal advice.

Essentyx is built for news articles, blog posts and other long-form web content. The extension uses extraction rules to identify the main article body and ignores navigation, ads, comments and short fragments. It is not designed for short-form UI text, web apps or sites without an article-like body.
Three model speeds are available. The fast model returns in roughly one second, balanced (the default) in one to two seconds and the deep model — Pro only — in three to four seconds for the highest-quality rewrite.
