Cookie Policy
What this page covers
This page explains the cookies and similar local-storage technologies that Essentyx uses on its website (essentyx.com) and inside the Chrome extension. For everything else about how we handle data, see the Privacy Policy.
You can change your choices anytime by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer.
Cookie categories
Essential
Always on. Required for the site to work.
- Sign-in session: short-lived access token stored in the browser session, plus an HttpOnly refresh cookie so you stay signed in for up to 30 days.
- Consent state: your cookie choices, stored in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every page load.
Analytics
Optional. Off by default.
- Google Analytics 4: aggregate, anonymized usage statistics so we can see which pages people use and where they get stuck. IP addresses are anonymized; we do not enable advertising features.
Functional
Optional. Off by default.
- Extension authentication caching: when you install the Chrome extension, it caches the credentials it needs to call the Essentyx API on your behalf, so you do not have to sign in repeatedly while you read.

Third-party services
We currently use one third-party service that may set its own storage on your device:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC). Only active if you accept analytics. See Google's privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
If we add a new category of cookies or a new third party that requires consent, we will reset the banner so you can review your choices again. Minor wording changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
